1: Why so very many calls to JS and CSS etc. - Site fast enough in use but Google hates it
2: How to get around it ?- I want the absolute minimum of code, how?
3: Is this just a Journal Theme thing or an OpenCart thing?
4: Is it possible to identify redundant calls and really edit the scripts down to a complete minimum - only what is used

Would very much welcome
i) Help and suggestion
ii) Comment

Have a look at this lot - it can't ALL be required surely
Thanks Guys

those are not calls but links.

why ask if it is journal or opencart when each of them contains " journal".

OpenCart code is clean and simple.
Journal is big and bloated.

Is there a way round it? Use a nice simple theme like this one:

Despite that I don't like Journal theme at all, I must say, that having a bunch of JS and CSS on your site isn't something unique nowadays. I'd say it's considered pretty much normal. If it loads fast for you and your customers - be happy. Google hates many things.
