On the product page, instead of the product being added to the side cart and then having to select basket, I would like them to go directly to the basket, or checkout, after clicking Add to Cart.
My current version is 1.4.7

Thanks in advanced!

If you disable the AJAX add to cart, it should take the customer to their cart after adding an item.

Thank you.
I tried it, but it did not work. I even tried uninstalling the mod.

on a default 1.4.7 install all you have to do is disable the ajax add to cart and it goes to the cart page when you click add to cart. Are you running a custom theme maybe?

yes I would switch back to the default theme test it and make sure it works (I have no doubt it will) and if it does you need to contact the person who created the theme.

Hello, everyone.

First of all, let me introduce myself. My name is David and I own http://store.opencarter.com where I happen to sell the Leonardo White Template.

Now, for the records:

1. There is no problem with the template at all. It works just fine.
2. It is not that template is not working, it is that Harvard wants it to behave differently (even different from OC's default template).
3. Harvard did not ask us for support (by reading this, anyone would think we didn't offered him support).
4. I've already PM'ed him how to achieve that behavior (remove a couple of words from template).

::)

Cheers,
David

For the record (and benefit of anyone Googling with this same issue), I'm having the same issue with v1.4.8b, even after switching to the default theme, verifying that the cart is enabled, and testing with Ajax on and off. I'll make a new post after I've moved the installation to a test site so I can post the link.

The problem I have with this is that I've tested this on a default install of 1.4.8b on several different hosts and it all works exactly as designed. Anyone having this problem has to have changed something.
