Everything looks normal when I go to the install folder. But when I follow the button "continue" and arrive on the frontpage of my store I can't do anything because of a error 500. "[DOMAIN] is currently unable to handle this request. HTTP ERROR 500" it says. The same for the admin page. I cleared the cookies and did several times CTRL F5 without result.

What is there to do about this?

After have read the remarks on github about upgrading vs new install I installed it in a directory. Paypal Express worked immediately without problems (at last). Thus I will delete the old store and move the new installation to the root.

Thanks for letting the forum know that PayPal Express works normally by using the latest release of OC.

user can go all the way through payment process and then ends up on the checkout page again - no errors reported?
