Hi, I had a look through the other boards but couldn't see one that would fit my question.
I have been searching the web for an answer to my question for a while

I have activated SSL on the website but the https is still greyed out with the (i) next to it and not the green secure, I have done a check and it looks like some of the images are still showing as http, how do I change these images so they are https and I get the green padlock?

Any help greatly appreciated. :)

in your config.php file, just change all http:// to https://. In system > settings, turn on SSL as well. That should do the trick.

are all your resources loaded on https? e.g. javascripts and stylesheets
That I'm not sure about as I didn't create this site, it has been handed to me, I'm not sure where to look, could you point me in the right direction?

Thank you

What is the website address and who is hosting the website? You may need a .htaccess redirect to force HTTPS and you can use the site whynopadlock.com for insight into why certain images / pages are not loading over HTTPS.

Thank you, the website is www.huggableheroes.co.uk and it is hosted by ecowebhosting.

I put the home page through whynopadlock.com and it came up with a plugin and two images, I knew about the images and have been trying to find where I can access them to change the URL to HTTPS, where could I find the images that are on the homepage to change the URL?

I am new to Opencart and have been reading as much about it as I can at the moment, so sorry for any daft questions.

Thank you

You can look into catalog/view/theme/journal2/template/common/header.tpl. It's likely somewhere there from what I see on your website. Alternatively, check your vqmod scripts.

The other image that's being loaded in http, try checking the welcome module, or one of the modules in the journal2 control panel. It's probably in the text editor.

Thank you for your help,

I have narrowed it down to being just one image grass.png it is still pulling through http rather than https, this image is on the home page at the very bottom, I have tried checking all footer files that I can find and have been through all of the Journal dashboard info and the information pages, plus I have been searching for how to change/upload images, but I cannot find where this image was added to the website. Can any of the Opencart experts on here please point me in the direction of this image? Is there an HTML file it will be on or can I change it from within the dashboard? I would like to find this image and either reupload it or change the path from http to https. Sorry, feeling a bit stuck, it appears this is the only thing stopping the green secure HTTPS padlock appearing.

Thank you

Laura

Well, I was just looking at the Browser Page Source of two Pages, and there might be more as well.
But I cannot tell, where they exist, possibly, some images have been added by use of the CKEditor
or Summernote Editor, and/or by some Extensions. Still, if you don't know OC well, you'll need
someone, to do this for you, I assume...
Good Luck ;)
