Kindly help resolve this issue, i tried going through the forum and did find the similar post but nothing seems to be helpful :(

Either caused by a failed upgrade attempt and your old store files are mixed with the new files or the new files do not exist to their new locations or these errors are caused by an installed extension. The relative path to currency.php you are showing on the error messages above is no longer valid even in v2.3.0.2 release.

Thank you for the response. If I understand right, I checked the path of currency.php in my downloaded v2.3.0.2 and it's in the exact same path as mentioned in the error. How can I check the possibility of an installed extension causing this error? I am sorry, if I sound lame :|

My apologize. I must of mixed a filename with a path during this analysis. This is obviously caused by an installed extension since in does not exist on line 25 and 26 unless you explicitly entered in on the OC admin.

If so, from which route location do you notice the JSON error? More information is needed.

I encountered this error while I was trying to test the Gift Vouchers and sending it as a mail to the email id. Refer the screenshots.
I have never encountered the error before.

From the v2.3.0.2 ZIP file, replace your admin/controller/extension/total/voucher.php or admin/controller/total/voucher.php file's send() method entirely and see if that resolves the issue. If not, then the issue is related with your store currency settings.

I tried replacing the voucher.php file and it still didn't work. I checked my store settings and everything looks fine. I don't know, the error still persists.

It would then be suggested to upgrade your OC version to at least v2.3.0.2 release since this issue may have been fixed a long time ago on a more recent version.

I am using OC v2.3.0.2 at the moment. So you suggest to upgrade to v3.0?

Thank you. Well the issue is partially resolved. Turned out that the error was in the mail setting that prevented from sending the voucher email. Although, that bit is resolved and now it did send the email, the json error of currency.php still persists.
