PHP Developer Wanted

We are looking for a talented individual to join our growing development team. As a Back-end Web Developer you will implement solutions that make impact. We are looking for a motivated PHP Developer who is excited about growing, both personally and with the development team, as well as solving complex technical and business problems.

The Back-end Web Developer is going to be responsible for helping find ways to evolve and mature the development capabilities of the back end team. The PHP Developer also needs to be an excellent collaborator and communicator, contributing across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Refactor existing OpenCart modules, implement new functionality and extensions.
Contribute to the team's standards, best practices, and methodologies.
Develop, coordinate, and evolve quality assurance (testing) procedures to ensure error-free work product.
Continue to foster/create a development environment conducive to creativity, collaboration, experimentation, and a true "Maker" mentality.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or equivalent work experience
Love to Code: you will be writing primarily new code, debugging code and interacting with multiple APIs: you have an intimate knowledge of large PHP projects including how to optimize PHP code for performance.

Tech Stack

Application: Mid-level knowledge of LAMP stack, PHP with OOP on MVC, JavaScript/jQuery, JSON, AJAX
Data layer: MySQL, Memcached, Redis
Workflow: Git, Bitbucket
Integration: RESTful APIs
Network: Good understanding of the HTTP protocol
Deployment: Docker / Vagrant
