Pictures not changing under product options

Hi guys,
I have an issue with the option feature for products. If i use select or radio buttons with image and assign it to a product, It will not change the main picture to what has been selected. Im using 3.0. I have tried this with check box, radio and select add he pictures correctly to each option and still the main picture does not change... Any help would be amazing at this point as im loosing hair :)

3.0 only does not exist. Which exact version are you using?

In the error and / or access logs, do you notice new lines added since the change picture event when going to the product options for those images?

Hi Straightlight,
Thanks for the quick reply. My OC version is 3.0.2.0 and upon checking the error logs nothing is generated after clicking on the option of each item

Download Opencart from this location: https://github.com/opencart/opencart . Then, from the downloaded ZIP file, on your host file manager console, extract the admin/view/javascript folder recursively by replacing the previous files automatically and see if that solves the issue after clearing all caches from the Opencart admin.

Also test between browsers if the same behavior occurs by pressing F12 on your keyboard. From the developers window, go to the console tab and see if you notice error messages appearing when switching images.

Not do the trick does not explain much on what you did. In addition, do you use any extensions? If so, either disable them or try with a fresh install of Opencart 3.0.2.0 noticing if the issue is the same on a virtual server or on a separate folder of your live server with new database.

So i have uploaded maser files as you mentioned and that did not work, i have check chrome, firefox for any errors when clicking the other colours and again that did not work or show any errors. I have upload a clean OC V 3.0.2.0 and that had the same issue as my install, i have tried this on OC V 2.3.0.2, and again i get the same where the main picture will not change when a colour is selected. Thanks for your time and effort on this.

Test on a virtual server with your computer to see if this issue can be reproduced. If you did installed a fresh copy on a separate folder with new database and the issue persists even while using different browsers, then this behavior originates from the server which normally, at this point, access logs or error logs are definitely provided.
