Just downloaded Opencart 3.0.2.0 to upgrade from 2.0 but the upgrade has failed with the following error:

Notice: Error: Could not load template /homepages/0/d107742659/htdocs/vitality/install/view/template/common/header! in /homepages/0/d107742659/htdocs/vitality/system/storage/modification/system/engine/loader.php on line 86

Can anybody help?

I notice that the config-dist.php files that were downloaded from the Opencart website are empty, should they be?

Grateful for any advice :)

htdocs/vitality/install/view/template/common/header! ???

Well, you better get familiar first on, how an OC Software has to be installed
on a Server, what .htaccess means, and how it's written, how config.php
files have to be renamed, and so on, before trying to play around with OC or Updates.
It makes no sense, otherways, trying to assist, if you don't know anything about such... :'(

Wow, what a totally unhelpful and sarcastic reply IP_CAM, thanks but I can do without your help so goodbye.
I know full well how to install OpenCart and have had several successful websites running on it. I know how to edit .htaccess files and am fully aware of the database settings etc. that need to be added to the config files.
I uploaded the latest OC files and followed the outdated but still partially relevant upgrade guidance, only to get the previously stated errors.
I thought I may get some sensible, educated and helpful advice on this forum instead of sarcastic comments, but if this is the standard of 'help' I am likely to receive when encountering a problem, then maybe OC is not the solution for me.
I am also trialing OC Cloud and finding major shortcomings, so I think I'll go back to my favoured shopping cart which is BluePark and say goodbye to OpenCart once and for all :D
I've now reverted back to OpenCart 2.0.1.2 which is working fine again and I done it all on my own :P
