Order entry update....

I just wanted to post an update for all the people that have read or are looking for such extension.

First thing I'm very happy with the Customized One Page Order Entry For Admin extension cartbinder has created it works seamless with all the other extensions and his support team is second to none which was one of our main objectives with the ever amounts of updates opencart throws out!

We used to use the "order entry system" by ncdad2five it was packed with a heap of functions but often we were left with errors and unable to use it to its capacity waiting weeks for support.

Guess I need to keep checking on the forums to make sure misinformation is corrected.

First DaveCook, you did not purchase nor use Order Entry System for OpenCart 2.x. The version you are talking about is the 1.5.x version. I do agree it was difficult to get working on most sites and in some cases, could not be made to work. However, the 2.x version was completely re-designed and coded from scratch, hence the lengthy development process. It is a lightweight version of the 1.5.x version that does MORE than the 1.5.x version did. It is much easier to install and integrates much better with OpenCart than the 1.5.x version did.

As for support, you can't please everybody. I don't try. The MAJORITY of people that have dealt with me have nothing but positive things to say about my response times (usually within minutes of receiving the first email) to how fast I am able to fix the issue. I go above and beyond in most cases. For everyone like you, there are 20 that would disagree with your experience.

As for comparing the two modules, the Admin Order Editing module by Cartbinder does not compare with what my module can do. I am sure he got a lot of his ideas from my module. It is odd how the wording for features on his module are eerily similar (in a lot of cases, exact) to my module. Yet his module still pales in comparison. It is very simple. I assure you, my module is far more advanced and robust. With my module, you can process payments on the admin side. With my module, you can take partial payments (like layaway or layby in some countries).

I have not even see your demo. I don't even know your features you have on your extension.
My idea was only to make order entry from admin side which i did in my extension. This idea was given from a client who was not getting a good order entry extension on opencart. He wrote the idea in email and we built based on that.

If you want proof we can DM you as well.

So if you don't know the truth please don't say wrong about our work.
I don't even know you or your extension.

Be careful with your words which you are claiming for me.
Now i have checked your demo. The look you have and look i have it very different.
As far as idea is concerned. Its not from you but from my client who wanted this one which we made.

If there are multiple one checkout extension on opencart, they all are copied from first one ??
Each extension is different somewhere obviously the main thing is same one page checkout.

If there are more extensions on order entry from admin side. Does that mean all ideas are from you ??

Sometimes client still need something different. So if made and you had a similar extension. Does that mean it was copied from you ?

Wording shall be similar somewhere. As our extension and your extension has order entry features.
That also does not mean it is copied from you.

I am not here to fight with you. But you cannot blame us from wrong thing.
You can build your extensions from your ideas and keep that with you.
We shall build as per our thought and ideas from client and keep that in our extension.

First I can see you have spent a lot of time making your latest order extension x2 and there are many features! You are a good coder and I wish you all the best.
Secondly for me though my online store is my life and the only income that brings in the funds that supports my family! There is always a degree of support needed to run a successful online store and sadly me and many others did not find that with your 1.5x version and if you hadn't of recently removed it from the opencart extensions you could see I was not on my own here! It was a high trend in the comment section with many asking for replays to unanswered posts!
I don't think this was a deliberate boycott but probably just unfortunately problems seem to land on your many weeks holidays ncdad2five. Maybe things have changed since 2x?

Anyway I'm going to leave it there, We are extremely happy with the Carbinder 2x version and happly recammed it to anyone.
