Sorry I am a bit outdated and I'm taking over admin of an opencart website without hand over.

In the past, we have a web server, then have some .html/.asp files inside the document root of a website and users can access them from browser. The directory structure maps to the file system.

Now, on the opencart website, it seems the file structure does not map the url we visit. It looks like through the admin interface, we create documents that hold part of the HTML page. We can visit the virtual URL without having a static html file inside the directory on the server. I wonder if it is a new design of apache? Or Opencart? I think this design is quite smart, because SEO is partly based on the name used in the URL. Please enlighten me.

Check Google as well, it exists in thousand forms... :D
Some of it belongs to Versions 1.5.x , OC is in a steady change !
