Hi there,
I recently installed v2.3.0.2 and getting "Warning: Directory does not exist" error while uploading new images are creating new directories.
Note:
My config file in root and admin has the correct image directory path.
I have cleared image>cache folder but it didn't fix the issue.
Please guide further. Thank you
PS: If 2.3.0.2 isn't a stable version, which is the best last stable version?
2.3.0.2 is the most stable and latest version to use.
And where / how did you upload the images?
Have the directories the correct permissions (how did you create the new dirs)?

Thank you for replying. Yes, the permissions are fine. I was uploading a new logo and it's a fresh install.OSWorX wrote:2.3.0.2 is the most stable and latest version to use.

I just noticed that I can upload images and create new directories under the default data and catalogue directories but not in the root images directory. Is it how it is supposed to work? As far as I remember, 2.2.x didn't have such restrictions.
Thanks again.
Hiya, I am having the same exact problem.
Did anyone help you fix it? The older opencart I had no issues creating a new folder in the root directory, same as you.
This is frustrating
Thanks
Nancy

Sigh, I have the same problem as well.
I can create new sub folder, but not a new folder under root.
I cannot upload a file to my root directory as well.
I checked my permissions to the image folder and its 755
I sorted folder by size and the biggest is 332kb in the image root folder... do I need to check each subfolder for an extra large file (read in another post that might be the issue, too large of a file)
In config.php I have define('HTTP_IMAGE', 'http://ardragifts.com/image/') and define('HTTPS_IMAGE', 'https://ardragifts.com/image/');
Then define('DIR_IMAGE', '/home/ardragifts/public_html/image/');
Soooo I tried adding public_html to the http define lines.... my images error out on my website
And I tried to remove public_html and i get alot of errors only on my site
So checked my config.php under the admin folder and its set define('DIR_IMAGE', '/home/ardragifts/public_html/image/');
Any ideas on what to check or change?
Please help
Seems this is a pretty common issue, did they do an update for opencart to deal with it.. or is it just user error?
I dont play in the config files
Thanks
Nancy
