Cannot access Image edit in Editor App

Hi newbie here, I have a problem and want to see If someone could please help me, I don't know if this a bug or not.

Inside the edit banner section I tried to edit the stock image in the Home Banner, when I clicked in the select image from my system browser, the screen returned to the edit banner section but the photo didn't change to the one I had selected, and when I tried to change it again by clicking in the edit image button, I could no longer access the edit image area and the screen faded to grey as if the edit image area was displayed but nothing appeared, the screen just stays greyed out, and if I click anywhere, the screen returns to its normal color without anything happening. and now when I try to access any area that uses the edit image button the screen also stays greyed out but nothing appears, I don't know what to do, any help would be greatly appreciated.

P.S. I've tried in CHROME, Firefox and Safari browsers, I'm also using an up to date Mac OS in case that helps in any way. Using Opencart Version 2.3.0.2
