recently my site (opencart 2.1.0.2) is very slow, especially when adding products to the cart (takes sometimes 10, 20 seconds, sometimes there is an internal 500 error - attachment).
I havent made any updates recently, what could be wrong?

Do you have modules installed related with product entry? Slow could be for modules or badly customized code.
Seems internal server error is happening due to memory limit. You can increase it through php.ini or .htaccess . If you need more instruction, let me know

I doubt, that increasing memory limit will help, because in most cases error 500 is database error. You'd better turn on displaying errors to see the actual error message.
