[2.1.0.1] Categories Link on Products not autocompleting

Hello,

as the title suggests, in my admin panel (Catalog > Products, Links tab, Categories) the categories are not autocompleting anymore. I'm unsure why?

is there a way to find out why?

Since autocomplete works via AJAX, you might have a JavaScript error on page load. Open Firebug or default browser's object inspector, navigate to console and reload the page with autocomplete option. You might see an error.

site has a few mods but nothing specifically in that area.. was hoping i could find a way to work out what is was rather than disabling all then switching on at the same time... :(

this is now resolved.

there was a conflict with another module meaning the DB Query was erroring.
