Hi! I've uploaded several carousel modules, similar to: https://www.opencart.com/index.php?rout ... _license=0

Unfortunately, everytime I try to Enable one of these modules (no problems with installing), I get the following message:
You do not have permission to access this page, please refer to your system administrator.
So does anyone know what this message is referring to specifically? What should I ask my system admin? I get this message on several free hosting sites.

You need to go in to Admin > System > Users > User Groups and make sure your user group has enough permissions.

Thanks for the reply.

I did what you said and I got confusing results.

First, the new modules weren't even visible in the access and modify perimission lists. But one of them managed to pop-up in the list and I checked the box for it.

Now when I go to modules and edit that module, I still get the exact same message. But when I refresh the page and then go back to the modules list, it seems as if it was possible to enable the carousel module.

The problem is now instead that when I change the design to show that module on the home page, it doesn't even show up. And still curious that I still get the same message as before, but that it still works.

Any clues as to what's happening?

You do not have permission to access this page, please refer to your system administrator.
Now the message shows up whenever I try to edit the modules...?
