Hello to all

My company protects smartphones and tablets, and I would like to make a site where customers can see the cost of repairs.

The sites of my competitors work well such as this:

http://bresciapc.com/

the site allows you to select Brand -> Type of device (smartphone, tablet, or smartwatch) -> Model -> and finally type of failure (breaking glass, LCD breakage, Battery Replacement)

I would like to do something like on my site OpenCart:

www.abinformaticaservice.it

I ask you if you know how to do if there is an extension or some template to do this.

Thank you

The Fellow uses WordPress. And there are no Extensions or Themes, to do such a Job, exept for some
OPTION-Related functions, like a Chained Selects Extension:
https://www.opencart.com/index.php?rout ... 0Select%20

You would therefore be forced, to start from scratch, by use of OC, to get something like this done.
It's not impossible, but I assume, it takes some weeks of intensive work, to achieve such.
Good Luck ;)

I did not understand, usually you use wordpress?

I am willing to spend hours of work or pay a template made by others to achieve this result but I'd figure out which way I ought.

No, your competitor.

But beside the fact that his shop is broken at soem stages, horrible slow, you could achive a similiar result by:

1. displaying groups
2. creating repair options which you have to assign to your items

Visitors can then select after category (e.g. Apple, HTC, Samsung, etc.) and select then what they want to have repaired.
All can be done with a standard installation.

But if you want to have 'chained' options (mean Option C is based (and/or) on Option B which is also based (and/or) on Option A) you will need an additional extension.

Nothing magical.

Sorry, meant categories - not groups.

I thought to install a module to display categories on the home page and then another module to display the images of the subcategories.

Now under gatecorie or child categories so I see no images: http://www.abinformaticaservice.it/inde ... ry&path=60

I only see the parent category image.

I'm on the right track?

Basically: yes.
Could be that you need some additional extension.
Like somewhat:

or
