Hello!

I'm running a OC 2.3.0.2 installation with the latest Norwegian translation from crowdin. There are several places in both backend and frontend where the english translations are still showing. For example the backend main menu, all menu entries are english, but the common/menu.php file is all Norwegian.

In the frontend at e,g. the cart, it uses neither English nor Norwegian at certain places. It says entry_coupon and entry_voucher.

How can this be.

Are all the language files uploaded correctly
entry_coupon and entry_voucher are normally in language/YOUR_LANGUAGE/extension/total/

as for the admin, have you a screenshot of incorrect translations

EDIT: looking at the norwegian language download from crowdin it doesnt appear to have the catalog/language/no-NO/extension folder which may be why it only says its 61% translated

Your right, that folder does indeed seem to be missing! It says 61% because the rest is commercial extensions that we normally do not use. All the important parts are 100%. Here's a screenshot from the backend. As you can see there are some parts in English and some Norwegian...

How can we get the catalog/language/no-NO/extension folder into crowdin?

That language file (no-NO) seems to be for earlier versions and not latest 2.3.0.2
You will need to make quite a few changes to get it all working properly.
I think most of the translations are actually in there but they are in different folders and have different filenames to 2.3.0.2

That should exlpain it. I do not seem to have rights to do anything structure wise with the transaltion. Who has the proper administrative rights?

Once you have the language pack downloaded you would need to compare all the files and folders with the default en-gb language folder and change them as you need

I guess that would be up to the developers at crowdin.

I did notice in the no-NO language/common folder you will have a "menu.php" file.
This has most of the common admin translations in it, but you would need to re-name it to column_left.php for it to work.
That should help you out a bit ;D

No problems, happy to assist.

If you need any others then its just a matter of finding them and putting them in the correct place, you could compare them with the default en-gb folder to see where they should be

Yes, that will do for now :) But, it would be very good if the crowdin page was keeping up with the current OC2 files. I've asked them to let me do it, but my question remains unanswered for two weeks. Only time will show what happens O0

jornmo, have you done the changes so that it works well for NO.- OC2.3.0.2?
If you have, would it be possible to get the zip file? :)
