I am using Opencart 1.5.6.4 with Pavilion Theme
I have an SSL certificate properly installed.
I have enable SSL in Settings>Server
I have changed the config.php file and admin>config.php flie as detailed on this forum.
When I visit a HTTPS page (checkout or account pages) the whole page is completely messed up - no format to it, all fonts are wrong and the page is totally un-usable from a shoppers point of and look absolutely terrible.
The same happens to the backend admin section and becomes totally unusable
Obviously, I have reverted to the non-secure version now until someone can help - please anyone out there got any ideas???
Thanks...

you forgot to mention your .htaccess, and it's content, possibly related to such.
And, depending on, how this Pavilion Theme has been built, there may be other
problems, one only would know, if one uses this theme.

in config.php change any http to https, both in root and admin.
in admin server settings, disabele ssl, not needed as all is done in config files.
