Skinning Open Cart 101 Help...

Hey,

Has anyone had any experience in customising Open Cart templates. I'm finding the whole thing rather confusion and need a bit of help. Your assistance shall be rewarded.

I just want to know how / good methodology for intergrating the cart into a site. If i do a fully css layout in, say, dreamweaver that that a bad idea? Can i just use includes to load the parts i want into the design? Is it easier to create a seperate template folder then install that (like the ones available from the downloads)?

Sorry to sound a bit needy, but I am a designer and gernally not a fan of coding stuff.

There's not that much to it really.

Providing you understand HTML you should be fine.

Just go to /catalog/template/default/layout.tpl, and go from there...
