If you check the original size pictures from the original filenames in your image folder, do they show the same width and height as the ones showing on your store without the sizing?

Once you downloaded those images, simply right-click on the file or roll-over on each files with your pointer. The size should be displayed on the shell's popup window, accordingly. Then, compare this size with your site's images sizes.

Sorry, I might sound silly, but I still dont catch.

Once again, OC 2.2., default theme.

I upload a pic via file manager, and its really big.

OC cuts it to input dimension (e.g. 500 x 400), but the pic is really big (2420 x 1600).

So.

I cant see the dimensions neither in Cpanel, nor via Filezilla. But I see, that sizes (kb) are left the same.

So we see that OC cuts as per input setting.

Simply upload images from smaller size before you uploading them via image manager.

Follow these steps instead: http://forum.opencart.com/viewtopic.php ... 68#p628989 . I just found out the source of the problem. It was a bug in prior version of beta release of OC v2.3x.

Another forum user reported the same issue. This should be reported to the official v2.3 topic; indicating the solution still hasn't been solved regarding the image resize issue.
