You also need to change what ever payment you use or your customer have used to "processing".

It looks like you have set the payment to Pending but then told Opencart to only do something when the payment is set to Processing. If you set the payment to processing and the "Setting Order Status" to processing (so it match), it should work.

Over 95% of all computer problems can be traced back to the interface between the keyboard and the chair...

Thank you mate, the need to trace coupon is because it's given to some influencer on the social media so they give it to their followers to get 5% and the influencer get another 5% if orders are paid.

most of the orders are paid via Bank Transfer, when I set the payment to Processing, it directly shows the coupon use in the coupon history. I need only those paid orders to be shown in the coupon history, so that the influencers get their commissions. Is that doable without extension or code edit?

Right. You have to decide when you want Opencart to take action, as when an order has influence on your coupons, stock, gift voucher... So is up to you to decided when by choosing what ever you like in Setting "Processing Order Status".
The list of "status" goes from processing to complete. You pick at which stage you want Opencart to take action, but you can't go backward. You can't have a complete order for "Processing order status" and then processed for complete again in the sales...
I don't know if you are following me.

I believe at the moment the only way to get coupons to move (as, to actually work) is to have processing in both setting and sales order status.

Anything other than this will required a mod and I'm sure that there is already something out there that does your needs.
Just have a look in the shop or wait for Ernie to read this... ;)

hi there, I'm having the same issue with a 2.0.1.0 installation of OpenCart - i.e nothing is being recorded in coupon history. I'm not too sure I follow the instructions in the thread though.

Can I just confirm that these should be the correct settings as labelled in 'Settings > Option > Checkout'?

Order Status -> processing
Processing Order Status -> processing
Complete Order Status -> complete

Hi Phil

Your settings are fine, however each of payment systems you're using can have its own setting for Order Status, which may not trigger changing coupon history.
