Hi everyone,

I need to have a simple (but complicated to me since I don't know javascript and not even how to make it work with the OpenCart code...) "feature" on OpenCart.

I believe that can be a good idea to implement it on future releases of O.C.

Can someone please create (if possible) the javascript code that can change the price of the product dynamically as the client selects an product option that has the additional value?

I think that this could be very useful. :)

Thank you!

This does sound like an excellent feature, anyone care to implement it, maybe using PHP?

As a side note, one can actually "dynamically update" prices for all products:

1. Log in as an Administrator
2. Go to Admin (menu)
3. Configuration (menu)
4. Localisation (menu)
5. Currency (click here)

Now, go to the currency and boost the "value" to a level that you want for all the products. See my DEMO images what happens when I boost the value from 1 to 1.5  ;D

Of course this is a cheap "workaround", but better than nothing if you want something here-and-now  :P

Peace!

that is not what they mean... you can have an option of +50.00$ for red  to the standard price

they want to show the item price as that price when selected
