Hi all,
I am currently on BigCommerce but want to migrate to OpenCart. Customisations are too much restricted there although there are many upsides.
Or should I ask which one are you currently using and your review of your host?
Cheers.

I only can argue as 'born tester', good Hosting always depends on, how NEAR a Hoster is located, physically, by the Server itself.
Because, if one depends on a Hoster, wich itselfs depends on another Hoster, and each one, in this possibly long Line of so-called Hosters only shares some HD-Space on another Hosters Machine-Park, one may find himselfs far away from what it takes, to have all the control, required, to individually match a Server Setup to produce the best possible Results.
It's like dealing with the Boss, directly. It may not be the cheapest offer, one get's, but for sure a PRO one, if one really plans, to go commercial.
Good Luck
Ernie
PS. Some free Tools exist, to find out on such!

Personally, I love evolve (see link in my signature) as they are active here in the forums and know opencart - a huge bonus in my book.
Running Opencart v3.0.3.2 with multi-stores and the default template from https://www.labeshops.com which has links to all my stores.
I think it would be a good move. Does OpenCart have a migration tool when coming from BigCommerce? Or do you intend on starting from scratch?

OpenCart is incredibly quick and easy to install with our 1 click install feature. After installation, you only need to choose a template and add some products and you are ready to go live. This makes our Opencart Web Hosting fast and easy to use for anyone.
Does anyone have experience with Firecomet? We are a mid-size e-commerce business and we want speed + reliability + managed service. I tried getting in touch with OC Cloud but they seem to have stopped adding stores...Would not like to deal with the devOps and IT side, we need a reliable and FAST host for our site that will handle OC and updates for us.
Cloudways is a good option, you can scale up and down and basically just use what you need.
go for FOXRIG.com and relax, no issues + fast support specialized for OpenCart.
