If the customer creates a new Amazon account and adds the address manually in the Amazon login and pay frame - Opencart does not recognise whether the shipping address needs VAT or not.

if the customer already has a registered account with the store and Amazon then Opencart will recognise the address and apply the VAT.

>> I don't think the address created in the Amazon frame is getting passed back to Opencart properly in order to apply the VAT.

I am getting the same problem (as this is the only payment system I have, its really urgent that I get this sorted!).

What I think is happening is this, when someone uses 'Login with Amazon' button on my site for instance, all of the products will lose their VAT.

As Amazon's payment system is based somewhere in Europe (I think Luxembourg?) the site thinks the UK VAT should removed as non UK customers has logged in (even if they are from the UK).

Not sure if my way of thinking is right?

I have spoken to Amazon and they are not sure why this is happening.

If I login with Amazon it shows like the below screenshot.
hence why opencart can not apply VAT based on shipping address.
