I have tried to locate the solution for this problem already, however, I cannot find an answer. If there is a solution already could someone please direct me to that link.
I activated paypal pro yesterday and noticed that the first payment from a customer using their credit card had come through twice. I decided to do a test purchase using my own card and when processing the payment I received a "please wait" message on the cart and also the confirm button became active again, so I clicked on confirm a second time and the "please wait" message continued. I then checked my paypal account and the payment has been taking from my card twice. So it appears that the "please wait" message never clears and the confirm button is constantly active which means a customer does not know whether the payment was successful or not which may lead them to click on the confirm button multiple times resulting in multiple payments being taken from their account.
This is a complete mess and I don't think I will get any support from paypal, even though the paypal pro is costing me £20 per month.
