After my original installation, using ftp, I made a complete backup on my own hard drive.
Then going thru the extensions here on this site found some that I thought might help me out and installed them according to instructions.
then, I'm not exactly sure when, I found that as a regular customer I could not log in to my store. When I click in the Email field or the password field, nothing happens. No cursor flashing or anything.
So this morning I decided to just do a major clean up and deleted my public_html folder from my site then, again with ftp, I reloaded the public_html folder from my local backup on my hard drive.
Now, the problem. when I try to log into my site as a customer I still get the same results.
I can log in to the admin side with no problems at all. It's only when I try to get into the front end.

Can someone please point me in the direction I need to go with this. I'm at a total loss here. ???
Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi _YJ_,

If after installing MODs your system went down, it seems that you should uninstall the MODs to get your system back since you can log into the admin.

Thanks so much for the come back..
I have uninstalled all but two.. Vqmod_opencart and Footer_Notification.
I can now log in but now none of my Information pages will show up.
This is getting frustrating to say the least.
and I just added one single product and it won't show up much less any menus.. At this point I'm considering just upgrading to v2.2 and see if that takes care of anything..
Thanks again, Randem.

I think you should consider staying on V2.1.0.x, V2.2.0.0 is not production ready yet. I have had to make some of the same changes to it as I did from 1.5.6.4 and a few more... Judge for yourself...

That should give you a start.
