So I just bought an SSL from my webhost and now it is installed.

I modified the 2 config.php and enabled SSL in the setting.

But currently I discovered 2 issues

1) Major issue - When I view and edit the order status in admin side order status, clicking "Add History" hangs
2) Minor - https are green in some parts of the website.
gray https are in Home page saying a yellow triangle message about cipher suites and whatnot and to 1 catagory I made
Everything else is green.

So far these are the issues I discovered. I figured to disable ssl for now since #1 is a critical issue. Which I am not sure how it is involved with SSL.
I am pretty sure that SSL is the issue because when I disabled it, add history works fine

A site URL and version of Opencart you're using would help a lot in order to assist you.

Ok so #1) turns out there is a bug in my backend order. but fixed if I just do a quick edit and save. for new orders, issue does not happen.

#2) if you check my site, https is grayed at home page & about us. But I have a feeling it is because of the facebook plugin

Hope no one minds me putting my issue on here as it is SSL associated.
I have a new install of Opencart 2.2.0.0 and i have amended the Config file but when I go on to my website I am not being advised that i am on a https:// page but instead still being directed to http://

Can anyone assist

Website is sarahlouisegifts.co.uk/online-store

Copy of Config

<?php
// HTTP
define('HTTP_SERVER', 'https://sarahlouisegifts.co.uk/online-store/');

// HTTPS
define('HTTPS_SERVER', 'https://sarahlouisegifts.co.uk/online-store/');

Apologies ignore my previous post.
Worked out that I hadn't updated the following folder files to have the SSL set to True instead of False and I now receive the lock

system/config/

Cheers

Thank you! Cool site. Seems not that alarming. So the question is how can I make it secure with those pictures in the page?

I managed to do a workaround.
so I decided to copy the images that I needed to another folder, then I made that as my image to my html content.

Now home and about us page is now secured.

But I do not understand why the image from the original location is insecure.

Ok now I know why.
It is because the images are under the folder name with space

I removed the space and it works

Glad you got it all worked out and it's good practice to never leave a space between any words in a filename or folder. Use _ or -
