I am ready with module for send SMS when order is confirmed!
But the my module was based on smsmobile.it
smsmobile gateway request this parameter:
http://sms.smsmobile-ba.com/sms/send.ph ... rcpt=&your international number&data=thetextmessage&sender=yourstorname&qty=a
qty==automatic quality
The complete system work
If your gateway have different parameter don't problem.
Send me name your gateway!

Hey thanks a ton man....but can you post the module on this link or add the same to Latest Contribution tab so all users of opencart can test it at their respective ends.
I think Daniel should like this module and would be happy to add the same within opencart as very ecommerce systems provide SMS feature within their panel.

You can extrapolate code from this pack
The sms funcs was based on smsmobile.it.
This pack contain a clean DB, layout upgrade and the italian language (only front store).

Thanks for the code, but if it support Italian language then how would people who understand only english be able to use it. also it seems you have given the entire opencart installation file....i guess making a separate module would be feasible option for all....so that people can add it if their client requires...Also if daniel keeps updating the versions of opencart then people can keep updating the sms module code accordingly.

There are 2 upgrade for favorite language:
The first
Copy from admin/language/italian/setting/sms.php and past it in
admin/language/yourfavoritelanguage/setting/
The second
Open admin/language/yourfavoritelanguage/youfavoritelanguage.php and past
$_['tab_sms'] = 'Sms';
In the next day i believe can create a separate module.
You can add a english language or your favorite language!
