[Solved] Remove from cart & update cart buttons not working

Hi all,

Running opencart 2.1.0.2 with a custom theme and have found issues with both the "Remove from cart" and "Update cart" buttons. The remove from cart button does nothing and the update cart button takes me to a blank page with only [] on it but still does not function correctly.

I have swapped back to the default theme and all works well so must be something not quite right with my theme but I have no idea where to start looking or how to fix this.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated :)

I get this same error using either default or custom theme. Might be a bug.

Anybody got any ideas?

Right problem solved... It seems there were some issues with the theme I was using (Zmaxcart). Quick fix for this was to replace the catalog/view/theme/zmaxcart/template/checkout/cart.tpl and catalog/view/theme/zmaxcart/template/common/cart.tpl with the same templates from the default theme. All seems to be working well now.

Hopefully this might help someone else with this type of issue...

Fresh Install with demo products, Running Version 2.0.3.1.

The error only seems to happen when the product has options. eg. when trying to adjust quantity on the "View Cart" page, it takes visitor to a blank page.
