I have just added an SSL logo to my footer, and I have noticed that the footer on my category page does not display the across full width of the screen. The footer displays across full width on all other pages, just not on the category page. Another issue I noticed is that there is a white space below the footer. This was not there before i added made the changes.
Does anyone know why the footer does not display properly on Category, and how to remove the white space at the bottom?
Would anyone be able to attach an original footer.tpl for oc2.0.1.1 so I can compare it to see what's missing on mine.
I would greatly appreciate any help. Thanks in advance!

in your "catalog/view/theme/default/template/product/catalog.tpl" seem it is echoing the "<?php echo $footer; ?>" inside the .container class. just make sure this file(catalog.tpl) is mostly looks like this
