Access denied on fresh install 2.0.3.1

Hi! I've search here and on the French forum but didn't find the answer to this.

I get "Access denied for user 'MYNEWUSERNAME'@'localhost' (using password: YES)"

DB Driver = MySQLi
Hostname = localhost
Username = MYNEWUSERNAME (same info then when i created the DB)
Password = NEWPASSWORD (same info then when i created the DB)
Database = database_store (same info then when i created the DB)
Port = 3306
Prefix = oc_

2. Please enter a username and password for the administration.
Username = myusername
Password = newpassword
E-Mail = me@email.com

Both config.php were empty. Is it normal at this stage of the install?

It's possible that the user you created doesn't have permissions granted correctly on the database you want to use.

Double check the users permissions and make sure they are allowed to modify that db.
