Hello, i am a little bit stuck with order statuses regarding orders processed via paypal express checkout.
We are currently using authorize.net and would like to add paypal.
My problem is this:
When customer pays for order via authorize.net, paid order is being set to status Processing. Then we automatically export all orders with Processing status to Quickbook, and ship them. Then we manually change all Processing orders of the day to Shipped status.
With Paypal i cant seem to have it the same way. I need that the order that was paid trough Paypal also would get a status Processing. But what happens is once the customer being redirected to paypal to make a payment, the order status is changing to Processing, so its a Processing order, disregard if customer actually paid, or just went to make a payment. Can anyone help me figuring out this settings to match the principals of Authorize.net (changing the status to Processing when the order is actually paid) please? thanks!
