VQmod cache error after ext. install

Hello,
I purchased the extension background music pro http://www.opencart.com/index.php?route ... h=%20music but after installing it I get this error message.

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ';', expecting ')' in /vqmod/vqcache/vq2-admin_controller_module_bgmusic.php on line 41

I pulled up that file in my editor and line 41 is this:
$data['button_save_and_keep_editing'] = $this->language->get('button_save_and_keep_editing');

Which I think is is my bulk editing pro. I disabled that to see if it was a conflict but that didn't matter, same parse error.
I sent the developer an email 8 days ago and no reply. Also just sent him another email. Thought I would try here before I submit a refund and bad review.

BTW, anyone notice how this is the ONLY background music player in the extension store? I sure wish some developers would make a nice music player with playlists and front store control for the customer.

What version of OC are you using? Happy to take a look if you pl me file admin/controller/module/bgmusic.php
