Vqmod Issues

Have no idea how to get vqmod working and upload the extensions.Have got vqmod in the root folder but how do I install slideshow extension using vqmod.What should be my next step or steps? Have also downloaded the extension in a zip folder from opencart website and placed in the vqmod folder but it just doesn't seem to pick it up.

FYI: Trying to install Vqmod in windows mode.

To install module, you unzip it, and upload everything to your root folder.
