Store locations

Localisation >> Store Locations

You can set up multiple locations here, but what does it do exactly as I can not see what it affects? Am trying to implement multiple branches/warehouses, which Opencart does not support to my knowledge.

I believe this is for where your store has real locations (eg. Chicago).

We do have multiple physical locations and have entered them accordingly, but can not see where and how to use that information anywhere. So as an example we would like to:

1. Display multiple contact details
2. List stock for all three branches
3. Select a store to pickup from

There is no documentation referring to this that I can see as it was not available in 1.5

Did you or anyone else figure out how to use this? I have a store that has many store locations.
How do we access the information and where does it get displayed?

It seems the idea to support multiple locations is there but not finished?

Old post I know but I found the Locations feature pretty unintuitive as well. It allows multiple store locations to be displayed on the Contact page below the main details.

To add locations go to: System > Localisation > Store Location

To display locations go to: System > Settings > Your Store: Store tab

Look for the Store Location field and select check boxes for each location you wish to display. By default they are shown in an Accordion list to keep the display compact.
