Develop a new payment module

Hi everyone,

I am about to develop a new payment module for Bank of Melbourne, Australia.
Is there any document which outlines specific API's to be used for payment modules ?
I have downloaded the support document from this website, but it does not contain that information.
Any help or direction will be much appreciated.

Easiest may be to reverse engineer an existing payment module that has a similar API...like sagepay or paypal
