HELP! I need to move all the data from one site to another

I set up my new website and filled it up, but now it has gone wrong, something to do with the SSL certificate. I have created a new site and want to copy all the data from site A to site B, is there a way to do this? I have already copied the template and core files by copying them from site A onto my harddrive and then loading them upto the newsite, but really don't fancy setting up over 1000 items from scratch and all the checking! I also need to copy over all the modules.
