Can you still access the original database?

Try making a backup with phpMyAdmin instead.

You can also use phpMyAdmin to restore the backup.

Arrgghhh! I have done the same thing, I was pulling the mySQL to figure out the product fields to do a mass upload, and dropped it!

Getting:

Code: Select all

TRUNCATE TABLE  `address` ;

MySQL said:

#1146 - Table '####_#######.address' doesn't exist
Any way of resolving this, as due to the fact I am a :crazy: idiot and removed the php completely I cannot get into backup (obviously)!

Thanks to any wizards in advance!

Hey, I'm in the same boat. Did a backup from my admin but go to restore and get that message also. The sql file from the opencart backup looks good, but only shows the table name as 'address'. Does it need any pre wording?

Know its a old thread...

I Just had the problem, the sql file was backup by opencart backend. i am running open cart V1.5.1.3

I am unable to acess the Database anymore... due to a mistake and over writing the database...

All i have is a 17MB Backup.sql file

Error
SQL query:

TRUNCATE TABLE `address` ;

MySQL said: Documentation

#1146 - Table 'hobbyzon_opencart.address' doesn't exist

I am guessing the database is an older version due to a older version of OC...

Please note, i have tried to import within the Opencart back end also.... but all i get is the file sis empty Error. and does not import successfully. even when i do a clean install of OC V1.5.1.3
