Ask your webhost for the server's error_log for the exact time when you got this blank page, there will be some error messages about the nature of the error.

Do the Export in smaller batches, to avoid the memory_limit error.

We are trying to use Export/Import under Opencart Admin>System>Export/Import [using version OC 1.5.6.4]

Can someone help on where to find the template or file format to import products or categories? And will system automatically identify if we are trying to import products or categories.

Also while doing export, we are getting this error - it never used to occur previously

Do an Export first, to see the exact format of the spreadsheet's worksheets. And increase your PHP setting memory_limit, or export/import in smaller batches.
