[SOLVED] - database error/unable to log in

Hi everyone,

I only started using Opencart about 4 days ago but now for some reason it won't let me load the admin log in page and instead returns a bunch of errors. The errors read out as follows:

Code: Select all

Warning: mysqli::mysqli(): (28000/1045): Access denied for user 'bucksfms'@'localhost' (using password: YES) in /home/bucksfms/public_html/microchancomputers.co.uk/upload/system/library/db/mysqli.php on line 7

Notice: Error: Could not make a database link (1045) Access denied for user 'bucksfms'@'localhost' (using password: YES) in /home/bucksfms/public_html/microchancomputers.co.uk/upload/system/library/db/mysqli.php on line 10

Warning: mysqli::close(): Couldn't fetch mysqli in /home/bucksfms/public_html/microchancomputers.co.uk/upload/system/library/db/mysqli.php on line 58

You can try to edit file config.php and admin/config.php,
find

Code: Select all

define('DB_DRIVER', 'mysqli');
and replace with

Code: Select all

define('DB_DRIVER', 'mysql');

Thanks for the advice. I found out the issue was caused by a change in the username within my PHP database.

Hi

I had same problem with a test copy of live site (in /dev/), when i updated the mysql username it fixed it, dont know why though...
