Hi There,

Can anyone tell me what's the correct way to set up the Realex subaccounts on OC2? We have 2 sub accounts, one for each of our websites but the payments all end up going through the default account.

We've typed in the sub account name on the 'accounts' tab but we don't know if we should tick the column for enabled or default or both columns in order for it to work. It says in red on the 'accounts' tab that 'You must have "Select Card" enabled for subaccount routing by card type to work' - but we don't really want routing by card type. We just want all the transactions from a site to go to the sub account for that site. Making the customer 'select' the card type seems like adding another step to possibly put people off.

Hope this makes sense :-)

Hi P,

Sure thing, so sub-accounts are quite a powerful concept.
Merchants can set up numerous sub-accounts under their Realex Payments client ID, and these can be set up as standalone entities so for example you can use either the same or different MID's, channel different currencies through different accounts, apply different fraud rules, dynamically controlling 3DSecure etc.

Can you PM me your client ID and contact info and I'll have a look at the account setup and come to advise on how best to make this work for you.

Kind regards,

Alan

Hi ,
I'm also dealing with an issue regarding realex setup.
I'm aiming to setup a subaccount with £ currency for the UK version of the site. I have multi site, one dedicated for UK.
I've simply put the subaccount name at subaccount in realex module, bit is not working.
Does the merchant id remain the same if this is just a subacount?

Any advice will be appreciated

Thanks
