But the Shop was not developed on the productive server but localy and was transported to the productive server.
Unfortunately the server settings were not same.

I can edit orders now but I have an issue I guess that it is a bug – the navigate tabs in “edit order” eg. “Products”, “payment details”, “shipping details” “totals”, have no links that I can’t click on, only I can navigate by “continue” and “back” button. Anyone can help?
Thanks,
Thanks,
So my bug was closed.. https://github.com/opencart/opencart/issues/2775
Sad that when you want to help a open sources project you get stonewalled..
I'm running PHP 5.4.33 and magic_quotes_gpc = Off;
Still not working..

Oke here i got figured out so far:Lowerland wrote:Yeah i tried all stuff also...
but still haven't got it working
New Git changes won't fix it
I just installed an older version of opencart to test this bug
installed opencart-1.5.6.4
Editing orders is fine no problem what so ever?
So now i'm figuring out what has changed?
Update:
Ah alot alot has changed
Probably going to take some heat here, but I have broad shoulders...
I am about to give up on OC 2.0.x.x - and move on to Magento. If this "edit order" issue isn't a bug, then there are a lot of us that really need some configuration help (I'm going to work with a developer Monday morning - will let you know if they find a fix). Almost 800 views on this post should tell you something....
Interesting that I can edit an order just fine in 1.5.x but not 2.0.x - .... good question above about "what has changed??" Either something changed or there are close to 800 folks out there with "server" issues which seems unlikely.
I have spent the last 3 days trying to fix this, with no luck. OC 2.0.x is very slick, intuitive and easy to navigate, but if you can't edit orders then the cart is unusable in its current form. I wonder if anyone has been able to edit orders successfully with the new platform?
I'll post here tomorrow after my tech session and let you know if I found a solution.

You are is no read this thread reply?gdb wrote:been reading some of the responses from devs and it looks like there is a big PR issue with OC..
Not sure how they think being rude and dismissive will help.
This issue is 3 reason (the most common first):
1. OpenCart 2.x install is not complete
2. PHP is too old version
3. Server of Store is not support cUrl library.
I am having these issues as well. Unable to edit an order and unable to add an order manually. As soon as one clicks "Continue" then the system issues the JSON error
So yes, this is a BIG BUG

]pm_netti, I mean no disrespect however, the problem still exists regardless of your "reply" . This is no reason for your persistence in expressing your primary 3 reasons for this issue. Something else is seriously wrong here. I have sent a private message to you and you have not responded.
Lets look at this as a real issue since so many have already experienced the problem in real time.
What we need is a reassurance that the issue is being investigated not excuses about the content of your reply. If there are other config possibilities, we need to at least check them out.

But this issue:
1. OpenCart version 2.x install
In general, one of the installation is underutilized:
- API user and add in setting
- Permissions is no added Admiastor Group in after upgrade
3. cURL required
- cURL status "Enabled" is not enough.
- HTTP Loopback connections must be permissible.
# If you are using SSL: As a workaround > http://forum.opencart.com/viewtopic.php ... 92#p552625
# If you do not want to use SSL: change server
is this the FIX ??????????
OC 1.5x has a control in the OPTIONS tab:
Order Editing - number of days allowed to edit.
When viewing orders, the [view] [edit] options are available. Once the # of days expires [edit] disappears.
------------------
The option is missing on OC 2.0.1.1 ---- at least I cannot find it anywhere. I checked all settings and everything in "Systems" no luck

I had the same problem when editing.
in my case, all worked when the store was in English, but when I installed it into my language translation, the option to edit the order does not work.
the problem was the translation files, which some of the files were in ANSI format, and I converted to UTF-8 without BOM.
Now I can edit. See if this is the case of you

I was facing the same issue with 2.0.1.1 i.e. unable to add/edit orders from Admin Console. In my case main culprit was the following reason:
--HTTP Loopback connections
So all I did is added entry into etc/hosts (ubuntu 14.04) for my virtual host e.g.
127.0.0.1 <my virtual hostname>
Hope this help
