The store i'm trying to create needs to have a pickup option. So I'm using the Pickup From Store(Enhanced) which supports multiple pickup locations.

The problem is I need a tax rate calculated based upon the location of the store, not the location of where it's being shipped.

I see that tax classes(or tax rate) are being set by product, is there a way to force a tax class for all items when a user selects the pickup option?

I would ideally like it to override any other plugins that I may add in the future, We're based in Ohio which has many tax jurisdictions so we may be forced to use avalara or TaxCloud.

I'm not sure you're going to find something that will add tax based on the shipping choice. You could build it INTO the shipping cost (so choosing Pickup From Store A has a 10% cost associated with it) but doing what you're describing would require modifying the tax class system. If you wanted to go the route of charging a percentage for each store, you could use Total-Based Shipping to do that.

If not, you'll probably need to hire someone to write a customization for you. If you need to find a developer, I recommend you post a request in the OpenCart "Commercial Support" forum (forum.opencart.com/viewforum.php?f=88), which is checked by a number of OpenCart developers. You can also try checking out the OpenCart "Partners" area (www.opencart.com/index.php?route=partner/partner).

If you end up going with TaxCloud, I also have a TaxCloud Integration extension, if you haven't already seen it.
