No order confirmation email send to admin or customer

I am trying to sort out the issue in the opencart 2.0.1.1, when i place an order in my cart i am not getting the order confirmation email even to me or the admin

Note: i have ticket yes for email alert for order placed
tried different server
also experimented withe gmail withe smtp in settings
kindly help me out of this
