Choosing Residential or Business Address for UPS

I see in opencart there is the ability in the UPS basic extension to either choose either residential address or business address. Is there a way that this can be a choice at checkout to choose either type of address since the cost of freight varies based on these criteria.

My UPS Address Validation extension can determine whether an address is residential or commercial, and UPS will then request the appropriate rate based on that information.
