Hi

Any help would be hugely appreciated.

I have OpenCart installed in the site root (public_html). I have a knowledge base script and help desk script I need to integrate into the cart.

How can I make the cart's templates work in a sub-directory? If I try to (php) include left.php and left.tpl I just get invalid variable errors.

I have the db connected, and the config.php file included but can't figure out how to make the variables work.

Thanks

Guess I'll have to find a different cart.

You didn't explain what you needed very well. I don't really see any value in moving the template directory (if that's what you're trying to do). But if you have to the directory references are in the config.php file.

I guess I didn't explain very well.

I have an application (knowledge base software) installed in a sub directory and would have liked to have the left column (categories, Information, etc) and the header work (basically a wrapper for the kb). I really don't want to use an iframe.

First of all, it seems that you are bit anxious?

Next, to add what you want you have only to look inside the files in the folder ../catalog/controller/modules/
There you will find all you need to add what you want to the OC framework.
Basically create a new module (or modules) and go ahead.
