[vqmod] Customer VIP Program

Thank You. It is possible to show discount product price for logged user and not this table with proces for every VIP group?

I mean when consumer login, frontend shop shows final prices AFTER discount and not standard prices AND table below.

So customer see only his final discounted price not the whole table with all VIP tiers prices?

Preferrably - it should be visible like promotion price - old price undercut and new price in red. Something like: "Special price for You"

show/hide price table is configurable in admin.

VIP discount price is shown like "special" price (original price crossed out in red and special/vip price next to it). If you want to show "Special price for you", this would need to be customized.

I purchased this extension and am going through testing. I added a product to my cart and 3 VIP discount lines show up. Any ideas?? see attached.

I have about 25 progressive discount options. ie: spend $100 - get 1% discount. Spend $500 - get 2% etc. This way I can move a user up through "ranks" and allow them a lifetime discount program.

There is a bug in the latest version, if you click on upgrade, it'll install another instance of vip discount. I'll correct this in next version. In the mean time, please goto admin->extensions->order total, uninstall and then reinstall VIP Discount.

I'm very interested in this extension.
Can i just confirm the logic please.

Example.

3 tiers created, all set based on Spending (monthly)

Customer is set currently bronze level.

In this month he spends enough to qualify for Silver.
Does he automatically get upgraded to silver for the next month?
And then if he fails to spend the amount in the next month, is he automatically downgraded?

Hi, I am facing few serious issues with module. Please help.

1. theres no history transaction so theres no information about how particular client got VIP level.
- please see attachment

2. theres another issue with payment gateway (https://github.com/PayU/plugin_opencart).
VIP client while browsing through shop get VIP discounts BUT on checkout, Payment gateway shows total amount WITHOUT VIP discounts.

- So product price is 100$.
- VIP client get 10% and Cart shows 90$
- dusing checkout client is redirected to payment gateway
- payment gateway shows 100$ (not 90$)
- clients usually abadon transaction then.

I have Opencart 1.5.4.1, nevest PayU module and updated VIP to 0.9.4
Pleae help.

is this still being developed?

1. an image (or text) that stays in the lower right-hand corner of the browser (even if visitor scrolls page) that if visitor clicks it will add VIP membership to the shopping cart

2. Concurrent VIP membership purchase with cart items - hmmm, what if customer has items in their cart and then adds VIP to their cart, meaning they aren't VIP members at that moment, but they want to join - can the existing cart items be converted into VIP pricing IF the customer also purchases the VIP membership at the same time that they are buying other items in their cart? thus, they could see what their pricing would be if they signed up at the same time they bought those items - this could be a powerful incentive to join the VIP program - "if you purchase VIP membership now, you would instantly save $xx.xx off your current purchase"

3. Accumulated Savings - does the Customer VIP mod show subscribers their "accumulated savings"? would be most cool if the accumulated savings could be displayed in user control panel so that customer can see that it was worth joining the VIP club - could be displayed per subscription period, like "you saved $230.00 in the current subscription period", or something like that

4. Club VIP newsletter - separate from other newsletters - would be most cool if a special VIP newsletter could get kicked out that displayed various VIP-priced items - then click a link and be taken to a unique VIP page on the home site with all the current VIP items

I think you misunderstand how this VIP membership discount works. Customer is eligible for VIP discount if they spend a certain amount within a certain period, it is not a product that customer can buy.

No. Think of it as customer group. Certain group has certain discount. Customer will be automatically placed in certain discount group based on their spending habit within a certain period.

Will you be upgrading to 2.0.2.0 I i purchased Customer VIP Program with an earlyer openCart. I would really like to use it again.
