Hello, I have an opencart store with many products. I noticed that most of my products have over 900 views but no purchases. I really want to know who is viewing the products and why they are not buying.

Is it possible to track user detail based on click tracking or whatever so I can contact them to see if they had any issues while visiting?

I will appreciate every assistance.

.. aren't we all ;D

Well, if they are not buying it could be for many (many!) different reasons ...

One way of identifying the issues is to get some Analytics Data.
The best tool for this (in my opinion) is PIWIK http://piwik.org/

You will need a separate database for it and a script in your footer, to link it to your site.

Piwik will give you a lot of information about your visitors. If you are ready to contact them all, Piwik will tell you who they are and where they are.

Totally agree with this response. I use piwik for analysing my client's sites, and the information it provides is extremely useful. Especially if you are interested in doing clickthru analytics or understanding dropout rates and causes.

It's very powerful, easily extensible and has a great interface.
