Hello

1. OC 1.5.6.4 upgraded to 2.0.1.1
2. Store does not have any mods or much to it. Just products and categories
3. Uploading Import/Export extension failed. Syntax error pop up (see attached)
4. Tried another extension, Bulk Option oc.mod same syntax error.

Extension installer is not working with a convertered store.

Installed a fresh copy of 2.0.1.1 on another server.
Tried extension installer and it works.

So,when converting a store the extension installer does not work.

Hi,

I am getting a similar thing, I assume it is the same error from your other posts.

Upgrade from OC 1.5.4 - 2.0.1.1

When I try to upload a file from the extension installer I get the following error. I had to update the config files with a couple of directory name to fix some other errors.

SyntaxError: JSON.parse: unexpected character at line 1 column 1 of the JSON data

OK

<b>Warning</b>: mkdir(): No such file or directory in <b>/home/content/01/8399001/html/admin/controller/extension/installer.php</b> on line <b>82</b><b>Warning</b>: move_uploaded_file(/system/upload/temp-235c129d949dea04932d19aa9564b0d3/install.xml): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in <b>/home/content/01/8399001/html/admin/controller/extension/installer.php</b> on line <b>93</b><b>Warning</b>: move_uploaded_file(): Unable to move '/home/content/01/8399001/tmp/phpSVEoff' to '/system/upload/temp-235c129d949dea04932d19aa9564b0d3/install.xml' in <b>/home/content/01/8399001/html/admin/controller/extension/installer.php</b> on line <b>93</b>{"step":[],"overwrite":[],"error":"File could not be found!"}

Anyone have a solution to this?

I still have it. I think I will need to restore my old site or do a fresh install.

I think it is Apache. I also had to upgrade the php.

I'm going to what as i looks like there is quite a few issues with it.

I don't quite understand what you mean?

Now I am just getting that the directory and files can't be found, not the very first error anymore, I have no idea why the first error has gone.

It seems to be unstable also because yesterday I tried to upload an extension and a popup kept coming up (saying error) and I couldn't stop it. And then I was actually blocked from accessing my website using http. I could still go to it using a proxy server and ftp, after a while it was OK.

I have tried a couple of files (the first being the ftp fix on the extension list) and it just says the file is not found (usually) and then when I check the error log it says everything in my last posts

Is it possible just to do a fresh install of OC and keep the database of product listings and users and just reupload it? Rather than do an update from 1.5.4. Most of the modules I have added don't work anyway/

Exactly the same problem here.

SyntaxError: JSON.parse: unexpected character at line 1 column 1 of the JSON data

OK

<b>Warning</b>: mkdir() [<a href='function.mkdir'>function.mkdir</a>]: No such file or directory in <b>/home/xxxx/public_html/admin/controller/extension/installer.php</b> on line <b>82</b><b>Warning</b>: move_uploaded_file(/home/public_html/system/upload/temp-a45611837d030975bae244b36c67109a/install.xml) [<a href='function.move-uploaded-file'>function.move-uploaded-file</a>]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in <b>/home/xxxx/public_html/admin/controller/extension/installer.php</b> on line

Any ideas?

Just create a new folder "upload" inside the system folder. It worked just fine for me afterwards
