hi all
I have a website where I only offer shipping all categories items to UK mainland customers only International Buyers can not buy online unless they choose the "Collect from Store" option and Payments as Bank Transfer only.
I want to offer international buy items from ONE category only which has delivery charges to UK £7.99 and free if order over £150 however to international buyer I would like to offer it as £9.99 with weight upto 2 KG and additional £5 for every kg.
I have looked at quite a few extensions but could find and decide which one better suite my requirements.
Anybody using such extension advice please.
Opencart Version 1.5.5.1
Thanks

It sounds like my Category & Product-Based Shipping extension would work for you. You can restrict charges by both category and geo zone, so you could create a charge for your category for domestic customers, and then create one for international customers. You can set up rates based on both weight and total, so you can get the per-kg rate and the free shipping over £150.
For limiting the available payment methods, you'd need to do that by setting them to be available in the appropriate geo zone. If they don't have a geo zone setting, you could use Restrict Payment Methods to limit any installed payment method.
Feel free to take a look at the screenshots and demo site, and if you're interested let me know at www.getclearthinking.com/contact if you have any further questions.

Thanks Jonathan for your reply.
Does your extension work with multi store? I did not see any rule for that.

Thanks Jonathan. Found the store rule under the charges tab. I was looking for it under the rules set.
I'll be soon making the purchase.

Hi again
I have bought the extension.
Installed it in my custom admin folder working OK.
Question: I would like to setup zone based charges for one category "PARTS" that has about 20 sub-categories too.
When I add PARTS does it also include the sub-cats in the rule or they need to be added one by one?
Thanks

Please contact me at the e-mail address in the extension files, or www.getclearthinking.com/contact, for support with extension issues.
Categories in OpenCart are independent of one another, even though they have parent/child relationships. This means a product that is associated with its parent is not necessarily associated with its child, and vice versa.
If your products are associated with the PARTS category, it will work to just use the PARTS category in the extension. If they are not, you'll need to add the actual categories that are associated with the product. Feel free to contact me if you have further questions.
